There is bad news everywhere you turn. You would have plenty of reasons to be afraid of the darkness surrounding us, except for this…
The Bible teaches you to fear not, because God is with you. More than that, God is for you!
For this reason, you never need to be afraid of the darkness!
On A Mission To Shine Light In The Darkness
Jesus said He was sending you out “as lambs among wolves” 1 . Why would He do such a thing? What was His reason?
Jesus is the light of the world and He lives inside of you. He wants you to shine His light in the darkness!
This is why He called you “the light of the world…”.
Jesus knows that darkness must flee when light shines. Therefore, He has given you His Holy Spirit, with power and authority 2 , so you can be witnesses unto Him 3 !
The world is sitting in darkness, but do not be afraid of the darkness. Rather, allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into the darkness to shine the light of Christ!
The world is waiting…
