The Keys You Need To Live An Abundant Life

Many people want to live an abundant life but few understand what it is or how to get it. As a result, countless people are pursuing wealth and happiness in an attempt to attain “the good life”. Often, they find themselves worn out, dissatisfied, and still not living abundantly. Others attain their version of an “abundant life” only to discover they’ve pursued the wrong kind of abundance. To avoid this outcome and truly live an abundant life, we must first understand what abundant living is.

What Abundant Living Looks Like

Abundant Living is when you do not lack anything you need to fulfill the purpose God created you for.

Let me start by pointing out that abundant living isn’t only about finances and material objects. Reducing it to nothing more than finances and material possessions causes you to miss the blessing it was intended to be. Besides finances and resources, abundant living also includes things such as:

You may not have as much as someone else or you might have more than them. Abundant living doesn’t look exactly the same for everyone. This is because God’s purposes are not exactly the same for each person. I’m also not saying you will never have times of need if you are living abundantly, you will. But you can still fulfill God’s plan for your life even in the midst of those times. 1

Learning The Secret To Abundant Living

While experiencing times of need, the Apostle Paul wrote2 that he had learned the secret to being content in every circumstance. He boldly declared he could do all things through Christ who strengthens Him!

But life had not always been that way for Paul. He had to learn it and grow in it.

So how did he do it?

By learning to fix His eyes on Jesus3 and always believing God would supply his needs.4

This allowed him to live abundantly regardless of his circumstances. He was living free even while chained to a prison wall.

This is an abundant life on full display!

Paul’s secret is a lesson we all need to learn if we want to live an abundant life.
